Deryk Van Brunt, DrPH
CEO, CredibleMind & Clinical Professor, UC Berkeley School of Public Health
Deryk Van Brunt is the co-founder and CEO of CredibleMind and a faculty member at UC Berkeley, where he teaches health informatics. With a focus on mental well-being, chronic care, and population health, he has led the development of health information systems in over 500 institutions. He also leads the Healthy Communities Foundation and holds an MPH and DrPH from UC Berkeley.

Anna Clayton, MPH
Senior Program Analyst, Performance Improvement at NACCHO
Anna Clayton, MPH is a Senior Program Analyst on NACCHO’s Public Health Infrastructure and Systems Team. Anna manages the Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP) portfolio, supporting implementation of NACCHO’s framework for community health improvement in the field through training, technical assistance, and development of MAPP tools and resources. Anna also manages the Funding Streams portfolio to understand and address local public health funding challenges and is a member of the Adaptive Leadership team.

Leah Casanave, DrPH
Division Chief, Community Health, Nutrition, & Clinical Services at the Douglas County Health Department
Dr. Leah Casanave brings over a decade of dedicated public health experience to her role at the Douglas County Health Department. Holding a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in Epidemiology from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Casanave’s passion for public health was ignited during her undergraduate studies and followed by impactful work on HIV transmission in Cape Town, South Africa. Throughout her career, Dr. Casanave has consistently championed community-centered approaches. A “40 Under 40 in Public Health” honoree, Dr. Casanave is known for her data-driven approach and exceptional ability to build and leverage community relationships to drive meaningful public health outcomes, making her a valuable voice on this topic for NACCHO attendees.
